Coal power plants: case studies of repurposing

This session fits in the series on the one previously organised on the topic of repurposing. While in previous editions we focused on the repurposing process for coal mines, this time we are looking into the matter of coal power plants as this is a common issue across Europe. Starting from a concrete case study, we will discuss the potentialities for the repurposing of coal plants using different technologies, with a first look at the new toolkit on “Technology options”.
